Take 5 for the Future -READY TODAY!
Just this past week I have thought of several opportunities that would have enhanced my lessons in Acrylic painting, Watercolor, Studio and the Jewelry classes. How great it would have been to be able to flash some visuals up on the screen (with our new technology), get on Google and pull up resources for the class, etc., etc. Just so much out there......good stuff! Through Art Council and our CAEA (Colorado Art Educators Association) conferences, I have gathered many sources to utilize in the department through my classes. We just did not have the technology equipment within the department to best use this knowledge. I am looking forward to now being able to utilize these resources in a meaningful and timely manner.

This sounds very exciting. I am sure that there are many ways to share the world of art with the students. The technology is very helpful as a tool to share things. I am excited to see what you do with these new tools and the discussions that come from the use.

Joan! I'm INFATUATED with making powerpoints with lots of fantastic visuals and sound effects. Also, I've found a lot of things on youtube for French; it seems to have a bit of everything. If you'd like, I can show you some things I've done with powerpoint that, for example, link right to a website, include images, etc. You may be there already, but I'd love to show you if you want!
